Suited for Change

Suited for Change, is a well-established and highly regarded DC non-profit. Our mission is to help empower low-income women in the DC metro region to escape poverty and achieve economic self-sufficiency through gainful employment. Built on the concept that a well-dressed woman is a confident woman, Suited for Change offers women who have been referred through job training programs the opportunity to prepare for employment by outfitting them in free, high-quality, professional attire in a supportive environment at our boutique in Washington, DC. Suited for Change also provides job search, career, and life-skills education to our clients. Since its founding in 1992, and throughout the past 26 years, Suited for Change has assisted over 26,000 women transition into the workforce.
