MREA leads innovative programs to promote sustainablility and renewable energy in the Midwest. We offer one of the country’s top solar training programs and run one of the largest grassroots sustainability events in the nation. In 1990 we were incorporated as a 501(c)3 non profit after The First Annual Energy Fair. We’re headquartered in Custer, WI with remote offices in Milwaukee, WI and Saint Paul, MN.

We’re always looking for volunteers throughout the year and to help run our Energy Fair taking place in Custer, WI on June 21-23, 2019. We’re an organization that was established by hardworking and enthusiastic volunteers. We hope you’ll join us for some volunteer fun! Shine On-
