Mary House

Mary House provides housing and support services for immigrant and refugee families living in Washington DC and Maryland. Shelter and transitional housing for single mothers, parents and intergenerational families create a safe environment for families to become stronger and reclaim their dignity. Support services include an after school program, adult continuing education, food and clothing program, and summer camp. Mary House provides ongoing services including legal advocacy, health care access and adult education through strong partnerships with the larger non profit community serving  immigrants and refugees. Staff live in community with other team members within walking distance of Brookland Metro, Mary House office and education center, and Mary House transitional housing sites.
