Community & Family Resource Centers - Siskiyou County

Missions of all of our Resource Centers--10 of them, are all different, but the main premise is to help people! Most of our clients are low-income families struggling to juggle all the balls of life! We were born from the First 5 Commission in Siskiyou County; so a lot of our programs are in parenting support and child development. We all have Core Services that we must provide to belong to the Network; which is our overarching organization, called the Community Services Council. We do a lot of prevention work, and our core services include: Parent Education, Healthcare Assistance, Resource & Referral, Community Leadership and Development, and School Readiness Activities. It is exciting to be on the cutting edge of grass-roots community development, as our County is beginning to deliver services through our Centers! Such as the Mental Health Services Act (Prop. 63) Outreach and Community Services!
