Fort Wayne Ballet

Fort Wayne Ballet is dedicated to touching lives through the art of dance in our community and beyond, by means of performance, education and outreach. The Academy of Fort Wayne Ballet is one of the premier pre-professional ballet training programs in the nation and the only professional ballet in the state of Indiana. Our Academy reaches the young and young at heart, beginning with children four years of age within our Pre-Ballet Division and extending to professionally tracked training and adult students passionate for the art. From the traditional classics to contemporary premiers from today’s emerging choreographers, our Performance Season truly offers a diverse repertoire. By collaborating with local businesses, schools and community organizations we are able to reach individuals who may not have the opportunity to experience the arts because limitations in life. Since 1956, Fort Wayne Ballet continues to enjoy being a vital piece of the cultural landscape of Greater Fort Wayne.
