Alliance Academy Middle School

Alliance Academy Middle School (Oakland Unified School District) in Oakland, Ca is home to a close-knit community of passionate educators and promising scholars. Recently, our school has seen impressive growth in academics and school culture through stable leadership and our ability to retain teacher leaders. 

What makes Alliance unique is our progressive mission of social justice through arts integration and technology. Our partnership with the Alameda County Office of Education provides all teachers with training in arts integration that can be immediately implemented in classroom instruction. Students also have 1:1 Chromebook access in all classrooms. Furthermore, our professional development focuses on specialized pathways for teachers to hone in on areas of growth and expertise to learn and support one another through collaboration and culturally responsive pedagogy.
