Missão
To create a community supported environment which will provide the pursuit of lifelong learning, self-empowerment, confidence, purpose, enhancement of the fundamentals in job skills and work ethic, and training in executive function, for teens and young adults that are neurodiverse with special learning needs.
Sobre Nós
Skills of Life Cafe will be looking for volunteers that are interested to support those with intellectual disabilities with a volunteer role as a trainer. Prior experience with those that have Downs Syndrome, or Autism is appreciated, yet not required.
We will be offering a loose based curriculum for our job training program. We will operate out of a food concession trailer for real time customer service experiences, We need upbeat and positive volunteers to act as a trainer/supervisor, following the guidance of our monthly and weekly curriculum themes.
