Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies, Hopeful Hearts. For the last nine years we have been bringing quality, complete maternity and newborn care to the marginalized of Cebu City, Philippines. We believe that every mother deserves a chance to have the best quality maternity care during her pregnancy, delivery and postpartum period. We believe life is worth investing in and so we offer extended services for babies such as phototherapy, medical treatments, immunizations and regualar check-ups. All services are free of charge to the families we reach. To date we have delivered over 2,500 healthy babies in our maternity clinic and helped hundreds more who needed extended care in the hospital. We have a maternal mortality rate of zero. In the Philippines around 220 women die for every 100,000 live births and 18.75 infants die for every 1,000 live births. Sadly since 2006 this number continues to increase for Filipino mothers and infants. We believe that quality, complete care for those living below the poverty line can change these statistics. Our charity is funded purly by donations from individual supporters and organizations. We are looking for volunteers to help medically as well as volunteers for our office/admin work and fundraising campaign. For more info check us out at www.gloryreborn.org
