United Neighborhood Centers of Milwaukee

The mission of the United Neighborhood Centers of Milwaukee (UNCOM) is to strengthen city neighborhoods by combining and enhancing the assets of our partner agencies to improve the quality of life for urban families.

In order to fully optimize its ability to achieve this mission, UNCOM proactively seeks opportunities to provide the resources that will improve the quality of neighborhood life across the city of Milwaukee, while providing an invaluable forum for discussion, education, and mutual support among the eight neighborhood center's leaders who comprise UNCOM's Board of Directors.

UNCOM's city-wide platform and the depth of its relationships with neighborhood residents are without parallel in Milwaukee. The unprecedented structured collaboration of eight tightly affiliated neighborhood centers enables the organization to combine forces and advocate for systematic change, build cases for funding that provides city-wide impact, and serve as a trusted communication conduit with community residents.
