A Diamond in the Ruff, Incorporated

A Diamond in the Ruff is one of the integrated nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations fighting against homelessness, domestic violence and mental health in Alameda County. We work hard to stress the importance of social and economic justice. Establishing a sense of belonging to our community; with love of self and neighbor; heal and grow together; promote self-esteem; practicing non-violence; act to protect the safety and security of our children and women; nurture, stress relief and conflict resolution. Creating diversity, within our organization, which is built on a place of deep respect, breaking down barriers and stereotypes; encouraging diversity of our values, beliefs and experiences.

Building bridges/erecting ladders for women of all colors in our community. These are the collaborative efforts, that stem from the heartbeats of women we serve in our communities.
