Coticipate, Inc. founded in 2024, is a 501c3 nonprofit organization serving residents in Baltimore and across Maryland who are affected by the digital divide. We connect residents to needed services, information, and resources that can only be applied for, accessed, and obtained by having internet and digital access. Our goal is to remedy the hardships and struggles of underserved and disadvantaged individuals and families caused by inaccessibility to the internet and digital technology.
Thousands of individuals and families, particularly in Baltimore, face limitations or barriers in accessing the internet and digital technology. As a result, they are deprived of services and resources that can remedy much of the hardships they face dealing with issues such as food insecurity, homelessness, joblessness, and educational disparities. We serve members of the community who are most affected by the digital divide which includes the homeless, elderly, unemployed, disabled, at-risk youth and students, low-income families, and those with health needs and concerns. Coticipate is a bridge that connects residents to services, opportunities, and resources that they had not been afforded due to lack of online and digital access.
