Eastport Volunteer Fire Company, Inc.

The Eastport Volunteer Fire Company is one of the most historic and continuously operating organizations in Eastport, serving it’s citizens since 1886.

The mission of the Eastport Volutneer Fire Company is to promote community fire and life safety through collaborative partnerships with the Annapolis Fire Department and Eastport's citizens, civic groups and businesses.

The fire company meets monthly on the fourth Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Fire Hall, 914 Bay Ridge Avenue in Eastport. We welcome anyone wishing to become a member or to simply help the community through the company’s efforts in fire and emergency medical services. We need good people with enthusiasm, imagination and up-to-date skills to assist us with organizing events, passive fundraising and general administration. Last year, our fire company was inducted into the Anne Arundel County Volunteerism Hall of Fame for a project we completed to put an additional Medic Unit in service to improve emergency medical services in Eastport, Annapolis and the surrounding areas of Anne Arundel County. The year before, the Annapolis City Council presented us a commendation for our years of service to Eastport and the city at large for making our community a safer place to live.
