  • Sobre Nós

The Transformative Culture Projects Project (previously named Press Pass TV) uses arts and culture for social change, focusing on youth, media, and new ideas. We use the power of media arts to provide meaningful employment and education for youth from low-income neighborhoods. We offer creative outlets for self-affirmation, teach life sustaining skills, and empower communities with the resilience to thrive.

TCP is a dynamic and growing organization that works with high school students who participate in an intensive production and media literacy training.  Our work has been the recipient of many awards including the United Nation’s Plural Award, LA Film Festival Social Justice Award, the Boston Center of the Arts Shorts Award and the Roxbury International Film Festival. Our work has been featured on ABC, NBC, Public Access channels throughout Massachusetts, as well as in New York and Philadelphia, and nationally through film festivals.

We envision vibrant communities, where media arts are representative of diverse experiences and perspectives, re-igniting a love of learning. This deepens our commitment to each other, creating a network of possibilities that develops economic independence and empowers us all to realize our full potential.
