    The Open Gardens Program was created as a vehicle for the promotion of sustainable development and preservation of natural and cultural heritage in the garden-cities and green towns around Warsaw. The program is carried our by network of people, NGOs, local governments and experts.

    Raise awareness of the importance of preservation of local heritage and sustainable development

    Support sustainable development of local communities

    Support preservation of local cultural and heritage and cultural landscapes

    Facilitate networking with green towns participating in the Open Gardens Program in order to help them to start common projects based on sustainable development philosophy

    Develop an international program of cooperation for green towns participating in the Open Gardens Program
