Strengthening Himalayan communities through programs that foster health and sustainable livelihoods.

Aythos is a US-based non-profit that supports development initiatives in Himalayan areas of Nepal. For ten years, we have been working closely with the people of these areas to understand their aspirations for their communities, and the challenges they face to achieve them. Our projects are tailor-made for each of our partner communities, and we consult with experts to ensure that our goals are reasonable and attainable. As such, we have covered a wide range of projects, to include partnering with farmers to plant cash crops such as kiwi and cardamom plants, responding to the 2015 Nepal Earthquakes to provide food, medicine, and shelter materials, and holding health and hygiene workshops to destroy the stigmas surrounding women’s reproductive health.
