EX-OFFENDERS RESOURCE NETWORK

  • Sobre Nós

Ex-Offenders Resource Network, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been existence since October 25, 2013. It was founded by an ex-offender, to wit, James E. Whitfield, whom faced employment discrimination repeatedly for years, yet he did not return to a life of crime. He re-channeled his frustration into a nonprofit to help other ex-offenders avoid becoming a recidivist statistic. In spite of his suffering a Mild Stroke, he has funded Ex-Offenders Resource Network, Inc. from his own "limited income". Yet, he and small team of volunteers have managed to assist hundreds with employment and housing resources.

We serve a very diverse population, I.e., the poor, low-income, disabled, the marginalized, and ex-offender populations in truly non-discriminatory manner not isolated to the State of Minnesota, but on a National scale – throughout the United States and its Territories. Employment, relationship statuses, housing discrimination and sadly (some overzealous) Probation Officers, were the principle factors that drove these men and women to re-offend.

Ex-Offenders Resource Network, Inc., has recently become a Grow with Google Partner, wherein, we will be able to help our clients become IT Certified, thus, enabling them to make a better life for themselves and their families.

    Respectfully,

    James E. Whitfield
