The G.I.R.L.S. Project

G.I.R.L.S stands for Growing Individuals Reacting to Life's Struggles. This girl-led initiative galvanizes teens through its annual conference, GIRL TV Show, Community Round table Discussion, and Leadership/Medial Literacy Training. Marie Celestin created the G.I.R.L.S Project in 1996 to provide girls and young women with a forum to voice their concerns , an opportunity to meet other young women from different walks of life, and the resources to help them build the skills necessary to realize their full potential.
