The organizations we represent, International Solar Energy Society, Bangladesh Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Pakistan) are in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). We host meetings with guest speakers at United Nations headquarters, New York, on issues relating to sustainable development: climate change/ greenhouse gas, water, environmental governance, renewable energy.

We liaise in all areas of Sustainable Development with representatives of Member States, members of the United Nations Secretariat and other NGOs.

We are also involved in sustainable development projects in the developing world, including encouraging women's entrepreneurship.

We seek interns on a volunteer basis to engage in and support our efforts. Interns available for long term will be given preference.
