Network for Community Development (NCD) Uganda was founded in 2007, as a nongovernmental Organization in order to meet livelihood needs of the community. NCD is a registered (S.5914.8016) nongovernmental organization dedicated to improving lives through providing appropriate training, management and evaluation of community based development programmes, undertaking participatory research and networking with various partners. The strategy adopted was the use of the power of capacity building within the community hence leading to improved lives.NCD is also committed to ensuring that community members play an active role in the decision-making processes on issues that affect them.NCD implements projects in areas of health, environment, agriculture, information technology, research, and education. NCD operates in the districts of Sironko and Wakiso.Our Vision NCD envisions a society where the community members live an improved life and are involved in making decisions on matters that affect them. Our Mission To improve the lives of poor and underserved communities in Uganda through capacity building, service delivery, information sharing, and advocacy.
