Huanchaco Al Rescate is a Peruvian nonprofit organization with 10 years of rescuing dogs under its belt. Since 2008, Huanchaco Al Rescate has been fighting to promote respect for the lives of street dogs in our lovely beach town of Huanchaco, Peru.
We take care of over 32 rescued street dogs in our shelter, treat their illnesses, and try to find forever homes for them once rehabilitated. We also organize animal welfare education events, vaccination and deworming drives, and free neutering and spaying campaigns in Huanchaco.
