F.I.S.H. = FRIENDS INDEED...SERVE & HELP................... To provide FREE transportation to MEDICAL appointments for residents of Maine Township, Illinois (Park Ridge, Des Plaines, parts of Niles, Morton Grove, Rosemont) who are unable to drive themselves.
Sobre Nós
FISH has been serving Park Ridge and Maine Township residents since 1971. FISH recruits volunteer drivers using their own cars to provide FREE transportation to medical appointments for clients who are unable to drive themselves. About 12-15 FISH volunteers average about 600 round-trip rides per year serving 55-85 active clients at any given time. Most FISH clients are seniors (some needing canes or walkers). Others are temporarily unable to drive themselves.
