Junior Achievement of Wisconsin-Northwest District

Sobre Nós

Junior Achievement is a non-profit organization that reinforces the value of an education by teaching young people about things like entrepreneurship, work readiness, career exploration, and financial literacy. We send volunteers into classrooms to engage young people in interactive programs and hands-on activities. JA volunteers educate and inspire young people within the community to make and work towards goals for their future career. We also have day events where students explore potential careers, learn how to prepare for a job, how to keep a job, and job-hunting tools for earning a job.

Programs span from 2nd to 12th grade, and focus on seven key content areas: business, citizenship, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics/character, financial literacy, and career development. JA programs are taught by volunteers who come from all walks of life and include business people, college students, and retirees. These dedicated individuals are the backbone of the organization.
