MIT Hillel Center for Jewish Life

As the center for Jewish life at MIT, MIT Hillel offers a welcoming, inclusive environment for all Jewish students as well as for the extended MIT Jewish community that includes faculty, administration, staff, and alumni and alumnae.

MIT Hillel offers a vibrant program of religious, educational, and social activities that enable the exploration of Jewish culture, traditions, and scholarship. Hillel strives to satisfy the spiritual, intellectual, and personal needs of all Jewish students.

MIT Hillel creates an environment in which all may celebrate their individual Jewish identity and define their place as Jews in the world that they will enter after leaving MIT. MIT Hillel encourages and supports the Jewish journey of those who seek out Hillel as well as those who have not yet found a Jewish home on campus.

MIT Hillel functions in partnership with organizations of the larger MIT community as well as with the Jewish community beyond MIT to foster amity and common purpose.
