Missão
The Oconomowoc Silver Streak, Inc. is a qualified 501c3, non-profit transportation service whose mission is to provide safe, reliable and affordable transportation to ambulatory adults aged 60 and older and adult disabled individuals in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin area. There is an absolute need for this service in our community as there is NO public transportation. Our organization has been steadily carrying out this mission since its inception in 1991. In addition to our modestly paid staff, volunteer servitude and countless hours of our volunteer Board of Directives creates this special service that have become dear to the citizens of our city.
Sobre Nós
Our service has been described as a "lifeline" from our riders as it provides them with a ticket of independence to those who would otherwise be isolated. These individuals are able to carry on with their medical/dental/therapy appointments, everyday errands such as grocery shopping and prescriptions, banking and social outings such as dining and coffee at local establishments.
