Oakland Unified School District - Maker Education

We are a local public elementary school, devoted to supporting the community and teaching young minds. We hope to achieve this through Maker Education, a philosophy based on a universal truth: we like to create. We apply the act of creation in lessons taught to children in TK through 7th grade. We help kids explore the world around them and apply the lessons the learn to their own lives.
