ITN Monterey County

Independent Transportation Network Monterey County (ITNMontereyCounty) is the only non-profit organization in the greater Monterey-Salinas area that provides Door-to-Door transportation, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for any purpose for Seniors age 60 and over, and adults 18+ with visual impairment.

We deliver this vital service through a network of volunteer and part-time paid drivers who use their own vehicle to provide this highly-personal, comfortable, secure, and convenient transportation service for those who no longer drive.

Since beginning in December, 2011, we have developed 260 members from communities throughout the greater Monterey-Salinas area. We have delivered more than 10,000 rides and driven more than 100,000 miles to help individuals get to medical appointments, do their shopping, attend recreational and social events, and visit friends or spouses in a care facility.
