    JOIN is a network of nonpartisan, visionary, everyday people dedicated to making Alaska a better place for all to live and thrive. Expanding on the success of faith-based organizing networks in Anchorage (AFACT) and the Matanuska Susitna Valley (VIA), JOIN is evolving to broaden its commitment to building community power across religious, racial, class, and neighborhood lines by developing local leadership and cultivating relationships. JOIN is an independent community organization, not affiliated with a national network, but with roots are in national network organizing. The current seasoned and emerging leaders in JOIN are diversifying the organization with a unique mix of faith and community organizations working together on shared interests and values. We are a non-profit supported by the dues of our member organizations, individuals, and foundations.
