The Safe Center LI

To protect, assist and empower victims of family violence and sexual assault while challenging and changing social systems that tolerate and perpetuate abuse.

The Safe Center LI is a new not-for-profit created in 2014 through the merger of the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Coalition Against Child Abuse and Neglect. It is the only agency in Nassau County providing comprehensive services to victims of domestic abuse, child abuse and sexaul assault - women, men, children, elderly and transgender - all under one roof. Built on each agency's three decades of experience leading the community in responding to victims needs, The Safe Center is breaking new ground in victim's services.
