    Sobre Nós

Imagine you’ve been diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia-a life-threatening blood disorder. Now, imagine that your only hope for a cure is a bone marrow transplant. But, there is not a matched donor in your family. Your life lies in the hands of a complete stranger. This is the story of 70% of blood disorder patients needing a bone marrow transplant. This is also the story of our founder, Brandi Lewis.

Brandi’s Blessings is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for patients diagnosed with a blood disorder. Brandi founded Brandi’s Blessings in March of 2013. Our mission is to support and spread awareness for patients affected by blood disorders like Aplastic Anemia and Sickle Cell Anemia.

After being diagnosed, Brandi began to meet others diagnosed with blood disorders. They all began depending on one another for information and support. There is a huge need for non-profits to support patients with blood disorders. She made it her mission to provide care, support, and knowledge to help people around the world. Some examples are preparing care packages for patients, hosting fundraisers, and educational events. Also, we spread awareness of blood disorders by educating people, especially minorities, on the importance of joining the National Marrow Donor Program Registry, Be The Match. It is currently made up of 65% Caucasians and 7% African Americans. With public speaking events, we are able to educate minorities on this issue.
