Teaching adults to read and speak English is the simplest explanation of what we do. However, our work is much more extensive and complex than that when you look at it from the perspective of meeting the varied needs of our learners.
We strive to improve the lives of our neighbors by giving them the tools they need to succeed in life. Literacy is the foundation on which all life-skills are built, and literate adults are more productive employees, effective parents/spouses, healthier humans, and better citizens.
