Beloved Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

Beloved is a progressive Christian movement practicing “extravagant grace, radical inclusion, and relentless compassion." We believe that Jesus is God’s Beloved and that through him, every person has been declared a beloved child of God. For this reason, Beloved is an Open & Affirming Community celebrating our God-given diversity of race, ethnicity, ability and gender including the LGBTQ community. We are “breaking the silence” long maintained by the church on real-life experiences around mental health, suicide, addiction, sexuality, gender and race. In short, we are women and men, adults and young adults, youth and children who rejoice in each other and our common calling to be followers of Jesus.
