Philly Free School

At the Philly Free School, we provide students with the space to explore the world and themselves at their own pace, while experiencing community through participating in a self-governing direct democracy.

PFS is a small independent school located in West Philly. We serve students ages 4 -19. Our school is committed to self-directed education, youth rights, and equity.

We are one of the most racially and socioeconomically diverse schools of this kind, and we have never turned a family away due to an inability to pay tuition.
