HILTON HEAD ISLAND SAFE HARBOUR INC

Established in 2009, Hilton Head Island Safe Harbour supports seniors as they navigate the challenges of aging, especially the difficulty of continuing to drive. Factors such as the loss of a spouse or caretaker, vision and mobility issues, and other life-changing events can significantly affect seniors' ability to maintain their independence.

The transition from driving freely to being unable to drive at all can be emotionally, mentally, and physically challenging for seniors. Our volunteers provide essential support, offering transportation to doctor's appointments, running errands, and attending social outings, while also fostering meaningful social interactions.

At Hilton Head Island Safe Harbour, our goal is to become the premier transportation service for seniors on Hilton Head Island. We currently serve a growing number of members who rely on our services. Our services allow our members to remain safely in their homes and age in place safely.
