To address the challenges facing the Garifuna People in Belize, Central America by creating a community model with four disciplines that we identified as integral to achieving economic prosperty within this vulnerable population. These four disciplines provide systematic approach to economic development to strengthen the Garifuna community and achieve development goals with international consensus (www.un.org/millenniumgoals).
