Vidya Vrikshah, a non-profit organization, was established in 1998 in Chennai, India, to address the basic educational needs of the visually-disabled in India. Vidya Vrikshah does this by providing Braille kits and training to the blind children, so that they can embark on a life long journey of education and self-sufficiency. VV-USA has now expanded its services globally through its Access Braille project reaching over to the remote parts of Africa and Asia
