Sobre Nós

Su Casa ~ Ending Domestic Violence is a non-profit, community based organization dedicated to the philosophy that everyone has the right to live free from violence or the threat of violence. Our mission is to empower individuals and families to live free from domestic violence and to build partnerships with communities to eliminate domestic abuse.

For 26 years, our Crisis Shelter Program has consistently offered food, shelter and support services to families who are victims of domestic violence. The 30-day crisis shelter can provide emergency housing to 22 individuals. The program operates a 24-hour hotline and provides individual and group counseling, transportation, emergency food, and clothing assistance in addition to case management, legal advocacy, CalWORKs assistance, temporary restraining order (TRO) preparation and submission, court accompaniment, parenting education, transitional services, and an on-site school.

The Transitional Shelter Program has been assisting families with the transition from crisis to independent living since 1996. This one-year residential program provides housing for up to 24 individuals (including adolescent boys and girls up to 17 years of age). Residents at this site are offered individual and group counseling and case management, including assistance with household establishment, job skills training, CalWORKs advocacy, and transportation.
