Alliance of Moms

Alliance of Moms (AOM) is a membership based auxiliary of the Alliance for Children’s Rights. AOM’s mission is to break the intergenerational cycle of babies born to young mothers in foster care. AOM raises funds and community support to empower young moms in foster care through educational programs.

The Alliance for Children’s Rights provides free legal services and advocacy to protect the rights of impoverished and abused young people so that they can have safe, stable homes, health care, and the education that they need to thrive. Since the Alliance’s founding in 1992, it has served nearly 150,000 children and youth in Los Angeles County including those who have been abused and neglected, children living in poverty, children denied medical treatment or public benefits, and children in need of legal guardianship or adoption.
