United Way of Broome County

United Way of Broome County's mission is to drive change that will have positive impact on the critical needs of our community by strategically leveraging the collective resources of community partners.

BBAPI is part of the Empire State Poverty Reduction Initiative which has awarded $1.5 million in funds to address poverty in Broome County. BBAPI will bring together state and local government, non-profit and business groups, faith based and community groups, and residents to design and implement coordinated solutions to address poverty in targeted areas of the County. United Way is a backbone organization to be a neutral convener and operational support.
