District of Columbia Public Library Foundation

The District of Columbia Public Library Foundation is a private, nonprofit corporation working exclusively for the betterment of the District of Columbia Public Library. Charitable contributions received by the Foundation augment taxpayer dollars and provide the Library with additional resources for materials, programs, services and equipment. The Foundation focuses on outreach to children, literacy, technology and enhanced library environments.
