To promote an understanding of and respect for the rich military heritage of the United States and the sacrifices made by our country’s veterans, living and dead, emphasizing that Freedom Isn’t Free.
Vision
To be Southwest Florida’s most treasured museum, a moving interactive journey through our nation’s military heritage and history, whereby all who come to discover and connect, leave inspired to remember and honor those who serve.
Sobre Nós
The Military Heritage Museum first opened its doors to the public in December 2001. The goal of the Museum is to honor veterans from all branches and eras of U.S. military service and to help the general public better understand the contributions and various experiences of American servicemen and women through authentic artifacts and individual stories.
