Fordham University Center for Ethics Education

Sobre Nós

The Fordham University Center for Ethics Education was established in 1999 to augment Fordham's commitment to cultivate life-long habits of critical thinking, moral reflection, and articulate expression, drawing upon the Jesuit maxims of Wisdom & Learning and Men and Women for Others. The Center provides a broad range of multidisciplinary ethics education opportunities, including degree programs, major lectures and support for ethics research and scholarship.

The Center for Ethics Education (CEE) administers the Master of Arts Degree in Ethics and Society at Fordham University. The M.A. in Ethics and Society offers students a multidisciplinary education tailored to individual interests, with electives in the sciences, business, and law; solid grounding in frameworks from philosophy, moral theology, and bioethics; preparation for study in doctoral and professional degree programs and employment in a variety of fields (including government, nonprofit, academia, business, and healthcare); and experience with practical applications and ethical decision making (including practicum experiences throughout New York City).
