The Institute for Creative Community Initiatives

The Institute for Creative Community Initiatives (ICCI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth, young adults, and families in vulnerable communities to address issues confronting their well-being through innovative and sustainable strategies that focus on adopting healthy lifestyles. ICCI provides excellent empowerment services in three key areas: 1.) Health Solutions for Diverse Populations, 2.) Economic Empowerment Education and Training and 3.) Youth, Young Adult, and Family Outreach.

Our Mission is to strengthen at risk communities through the design, development and implementation of innovative grassroots programs that engage, encourage, and empower youth, young adults, and families to embrace life changing principles.

Our goals are as follows:

v To counsel and support at-risk youth in the areas of substance abuse, domestic violence, teenage pregnancy, illiteracy, and building self-esteem

v To assist individuals and families in gaining employment through counseling, outreach, skills training, and family interventions

v To provide mentoring programs for at-risk youth in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area
