Freewheelin' Community Bikes

    Mission: Believing in the worth and the gifts of each person to enrich the world. Freewheelin' Community Bikes uses bicycles to bring out the best in people and in our community.Programs:Earn-A-Bike- Youth ages 10-18 can learn the basics of bike mechanics, how to maintaint their bikes, as well and life and leadershipskills. When a student is able to display efficiency in these basic mechanics skills, they become the proud owner of their very own bicycle! We also offer advanced classes for the youth who are intersted in learning more about brakes, gears, and bearings.Explore Indy- This is our Saturday ride program that takes folks on bike rides to fun locations around the city. The rides usually run from 9am-1pm, and average about 10 miles per ride. These occur weekly, as weather permits!
