Sage Financial Solutions

Sage Financial Solutions, Inc. (SFS) formed in 2006 to increase access to financial planning for all people and provide financial literacy programs for underserved communities. We began by creating alliances with community based organizations, developing relationships that include providing one-on-one planning and conducting workshops. SFS has now become a resource for several local non-profit agencies and has developed a cadre of CFP® volunteers committed to providing direct financial planning services to the employees of our partner CBOs. This project proposal takes that pilot project to the next phase, which is to create a Financial Planning Incubator (FPI) designed to serve the financial planning profession and underserved markets by creating a place for newly minted financial planners to provide planning services to low-wealth individuals in San Francisco California.
