Grace Healthcare is a non-profit founded in 2017 to provide pharmacy and health care services to medically indigent individuals, including the homeless at GRACE Marketplace in Gainesville. Grace Healthcare operates a free pharmacy & manages a medical clinic located at GRACE Marketplace. Free health care is provided by our safety-net clinic partners, using the clinic space, equipment, and supplies provided by Grace Healthcare. We now want to start a bimonthly women’s clinic and are looking for a volunteer healthcare provider.
The new women's health clinic will be operated by the Alachua Area Medical Reserve Corp/Department of Health, with the Alachua Co Rape Crisis Center. It will be open 4 hours twice a month to provide comprehensive women’s health care, & on-site counseling, as needed, by staff from the Rape Crisis Center. The Grace Women’s Clinic will serve up to 100+ homeless and medically indigent women who need medical treatment and/or confidential sexual assault counseling. We will provide general medical care and screening labs, gynecological exams, PAP and STD testing, sexual assault/abuse services, and limited pre-natal care with OB referrals.
