Women's Museum of California

The mission of the Women's Museum of California is to educate and inspire current and future generations about the experiences and contributions of women by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the evidence of that experience.

We encourage everyone, young and old, to pursue their dreams. The museum gives people the opportunity to learn about women in history who paved the way for women's lives today and tomorrow.  Women’s achievements in science, scholarship, literature, and other spheres are often overshadowed by the achievements of men.
