THE BETHELI9HT FOUNDATION INC

The BeTheLi9ht Foundation opened The BeTheLi9ht Center (A place for people who feel lost, a place for

people who have lost & a place for Hope) in September 2021. We are a youth center for middle & high school

students. We are open every day after school from 2:30-6:00 and until 9:00 PM on Fridays. We are a place

where students can just "BE."

Since the pandemic, our students have been more and more socially isolated. We provide a space for them to

hang with their friends, meet NEW friends as well as have trusted adults they can talk to and open up to. We

feel our center is of vital importance to our students as many of them really don't know how to socialize. We

provide a place for them to be off their phones and interact with others. Something many kids do not know

how to do today.

We provide a safe space to hang with their friends or just come themselves and hang with our volunteers &

staff. We play games, do art projects, talk. In addition, we provide referrals for our youth if we identify

additional mental health needs.

e provide free of charge to our students. We hold or activities that we hold such as Paint &

Create Night, Visual Journals, Be The Best You (a DISC Profile program), and many other activities throughout

the year.
