Phaung Daw Oo Pre-College Program

Pre-College Program is a competetive, English-immersion educational capstone for young teachers and students. With a curriculum featuring a year-long crash course in the liberal arts, PDOPCP strives to create confident community leaders, and to equip its graduates with the tools necessary to thrive at an international university if students choose to pursue higher degrees of education.

PCP has four principal objectives:

• To provide students with the skills required to design community development projects that focus on community responsiveness and engagemen
• Improve student access to university education by improving English and critical thinking skills.
• Promote global political awareness and encourage social citizenship and engagement in democracy.
• Improve general civic education and leadership skills through service learning
