De Nazarin Community Relief

De Nazarin Community Relief (DNCR) is a registered development and humanitarian organisation, founded in 2019 with its headquarters in Uganda. Our charity is from locals for locals.  Our team is completely made up of locals from the communities we work in.

We work to improve the livelihoods of vulnerable communities in the Wakiso district of Kampala, Uganda. With a focus on women and youth, we use a bottom-up approach to increase economic empowerment opportunities. This is done through close collaboration with the local communities so that we can ensure they can maintain agency. We mobilize women and youth to improve access to basic services through developing income-generating activities and increasing financial literacy.

We want to make sure that everyone involved with the De Nazarin Community Relief, right from our staff, supporters, and the vulnerable people living in poverty should feel that together we can make dreams become a reality. Our tactical and analytic approach helps us develop programs in response to the different challenges and needs faced by the various women and young people within our community.
