PROGRAMS

Makin’ Groceries Program (MGP): Since 2013, we have delivered over 25,000 boxes of healthy food to over 2,500 families with our affordable grocery service; delivering boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as frozen lean meats, seafood, and poultry to dozens of community hubs where members and neighbors can pick up nutritious food.

Healthy Corner Store Collaborative (HCSC): In 2017, we partnered with the City of New Orleans, Propeller, and Liberty's Kitchen in order to expand our program to make fresh produce accessible every day at corner stores in neighborhoods that lack healthy food access.

During the spring of 2019, we established the same programs for communities in North and East Baton Rouge through Geaux Get Healthy, a project of Mayor Sharon Broome’s citywide health and wellness initiative, Healthy BR.
